SuperFine Water Based Primer

Description

SuperFine Water Based Primer is a general-purpose pigmented undercoat that is used to seal pores and imperfections of plaster, concrete and gypsum surfaces and to prepare the primer surface for the final application of paint. The product is suitable for interior and exterior surfaces, providing an ideal finish for subsequent coats.

Surface Preparation

New and bare surfaces: Must be clean, dry and free from efflorescent salts. Scuff the surface with suitable sandpaper or sandstone to make the plaster surface smooth. Dust off and apply a priming coat of SuperFine Water Based Primer (Interior & Exterior). Allow the Primer to dry for 2-3 hours. Previously painted sound surface (all weathers): remove all defective or poorly adhering material by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper or stiff brush and dust off. let the surface dry. prepare its surface using the same procedure as given above. Powdery, Dusty Surface, Cracks: for large holes and cracks use plaster of paris or white cement. Allow to dry. remove all defective or poorly adhering material by rubbing down using a suitable abrasive paper or stiff brush and dust off. let the surface dry. Prepare the surface using the same procedure as given above. Finishing: The Primed surface can be smoothened with SuperFine Filler and subsequently painted with SuperFine Weather Power.

Application

Apply NewLac Water Based Primer with the use of a brush, roller or spray. Apply 1-2 coats as required and let it dry for 2-3 hours. Once dried apply MOBI Plastic Emulsion, SuperFine Weather Power or SuperFine Plus Emulsion.

Tips For Safety, Economy and Environmental Protection

Keep paint container air tight after us e and store in a shady & dry place. Rinse with plenty of water in case of eye contact and seek medical advice. Use skin cleanser to remove splashes from skin. Scrape excess paint out of brushes and rollers before cleaning. Wash all equipment immediately after use water. Do not dispose-off excess paint or paint waste into drains or watercourses disposal should be done in accordance with the environmental regulations.
